My Top 10 Favorite Disney Songs of All Time

Disney hit its stride in the 90's and early 2000's with movie classics The Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Lion King, and Aladdin. Since then, the catchy musical numbers, filled with the empowering messages and enchanting characters, have evolved... leaving behind a legacy of music and Billboard hits.

Here are my top 10 all-time favorite Disney songs... Did your favorites make the list?

1. "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" - Mulan

Let's get down to business. To defeat... the Huns. Donny Osmond in his glory days.

2. "Shadowland" - The Lion King

From the 1997 musical and shockingly absent from the movie, this song is a piece of art. Performed by Tony and Grammy award winner Heather Headley as Nala.

3. "Bet On It" - High School Musical 2

Sung by Zac Efron almost 10 YEARS AGO, this song is still a jam. Fight me.

4. "Strangers Like Me" - Tarzan

Love me some Phil Collins and a delightful love story in the making.

5. "How Far I'll Go" - Moana

Following a long Disney tradition of "I Want" songs, Lin Manuel Miranda whips up an incredible anthem performed by a 16-year-old Auli'i Cravalho.

6. "Arabian Nights" - Aladdin

The 1992 movie is a Disney classic, but seeing Aladdin on Broadway SHOOK me. This song is a Middle Eastern spectacular.

7. "Someday" - Hunchback of Notre Dame

Songwriters Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz worked together on this stunning ballad. Unfortunately, the song was discarded in the storyboarding process and replaced with "God Help The Outcasts."

Ciara Renee (Esmeralda) and Andrew Samonsky (Phoebus) elegantly perform the duet on the stage musical's soundtrack.

8. "I Won't Say I'm In Love" - Hercules

Meg was the GOAT. Sassy vocals by Susan Egan and backups by Lillias White, LaChanze, Roz Ryan, Cheryl Freeman, and Vanéese Y. Thomas.

9. "The World Will Know" - Newsies

Jeremy Jordan rallies with his fellow newsies to sing the anthem of the underdog.

10. "He Lives In You" - The Lion King

It just doesn't get better than this.
